Every photograph is shot on 35mm film for unrivalled grain and depth. Each print is produced using giclée technology on 200gsm archival matte paper, printed in up to 12 individual colours. No pre-printed stock — every piece is printed to order.

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Matt

Every RICHARD MUNDI print is produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Matt — a 100% cotton, acid-free fine art paper trusted by museums, galleries, and collectors worldwide. With a weight of 200gsm and a smooth matte finish, it delivers exceptional colour depth, tonal range, and archival longevity rated to exceed 100 years.

Paper
Hahnemühle Photo Rag Matt, 200gsm. 100% cotton rag, acid-free, OBA-free. Museum-grade archival stock with a natural white tone and velvety matte surface.
Light
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour fidelity. UV-filtering glass is recommended for long-term display. LED or halogen spotlights are ideal.
Humidity
Store and display in a dry environment between 35–55% relative humidity. Avoid kitchens, bathrooms, and unventilated spaces where moisture can cause warping or foxing.
Handling
Always handle prints by the edges or wear cotton gloves. Oils from fingers can mark the matte surface permanently. If unframed, store flat between acid-free tissue sheets.
Cleaning
Never touch the print surface with cleaning agents. For framed works, gently dust the glass with a dry microfibre cloth. Avoid spraying glass cleaner directly — apply to cloth first.
Longevity
With proper care, Hahnemühle Photo Rag is independently certified to maintain colour accuracy for over 100 years. Each print is a lasting investment in original art.
Framing Options

Built to complement, not compete

Every frame is handmade from sustainably sourced hardwood with a deep-set profile designed to create a shadow gap between glass and print. All options include UV-protective glass and acid-free mounting as standard.

Walnut
Rich, warm-toned walnut hardwood. Our most popular frame — pairs naturally with the warm base tones of the Photo Rag paper. Ideal for living spaces and warm-lit interiors.
Black
Matte black stained hardwood. Clean and minimal — lets the photograph take centre stage. Well suited to monochrome prints, modern interiors, and gallery-style hanging.
White
Off-white stained hardwood matched to the natural tone of the paper. Creates a seamless, floating effect. Perfect for bright spaces and Scandinavian-inspired settings.
Oak
Light natural oak with a fine visible grain. Warm yet neutral — brings an organic, understated feel. Particularly suited to landscape photography and coastal or earth-toned interiors.
All prints can also be ordered unframed — shipped in a sturdy postal tube with acid-free tissue wrapping to protect the print surface during transit.
