Last updated: 23 May 2026. These Terms govern your use of richardmundi.com and the purchase of RICHARD MUNDI products. Please read them carefully before using the Site.

Viewing terms for:

1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of richardmundi.com (the "Site") and the purchase of products from RICHARD MUNDI ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK or EU law, which take precedence where applicable.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Site in any manner that contravenes applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its infrastructure, or any connected systems
  • Transmit unsolicited advertising, promotional material, or spam of any kind
  • Introduce viruses, trojans, ransomware, or other malicious or technologically harmful material
  • Reproduce, copy, scrape, or resell any part of the Site without our prior written consent
  • Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to access the Site without our express authorisation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site for any user who breaches these Terms, without notice and at our sole discretion.

4. Account Registration

You may create a member account on the Site. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at info@richardmundi.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that are inactive, used in breach of these Terms, or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or harmful to other users or the Site.

5. Products, Descriptions & Pricing

We take care to ensure that all product descriptions, fabric details, care instructions, and images are accurate and presented in good faith. However, slight variations in colour, texture, or weight may occur due to photography conditions and screen calibration — these do not constitute defects.

All prices are displayed in your selected currency. Currency conversions are provided as a guide only using live exchange rates; the final charge will be confirmed at checkout in the currency of the transaction. We are not responsible for fluctuations in exchange rates between browsing and payment.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to withdraw any product from sale at any time. Where a pricing error is discovered after an order is placed, we will contact you to offer a corrected order or a full refund.

6. Orders & Contract Formation

Placing an order on the Site constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product(s) at the stated price. A binding contract between you and RICHARD MUNDI is formed only upon our written confirmation of your order and the despatch of the goods.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our sole discretion — for example, where a product is out of stock, where a pricing error has occurred, or where we have reason to suspect fraud. You will receive a full refund of any payment made in such circumstances.

Order confirmations are sent to the email address you provide. Please ensure this is accurate — we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of confirmations to an incorrect address.

7. Payment

All payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments (when live) or another PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway. We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods made available at checkout.

We do not store card details. All payment data is handled exclusively by our payment processor and is subject to their security standards.

By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided and that the details you supply are accurate and complete.

Prices displayed for UK customers are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate. For EU customers, local VAT may apply depending on your country of delivery and will be calculated at checkout where required.

8. Shipping & Delivery

We ship to all countries within the United Kingdom, European Union, European Economic Area, and Switzerland. Delivery times and costs are displayed at checkout and vary by destination and selected shipping method. Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

UK deliveries: Title and risk pass to you upon delivery to the address you specified. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if goods are not delivered within the agreed timeframe, you may treat the contract as at an end and receive a full refund.

EU deliveries: In accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, goods must be delivered within 30 days of purchase unless an alternative date is agreed. Risk passes to you upon physical possession of the goods or upon delivery to your nominated carrier if different from our own.

For shipments within the EU, no customs duties apply. Shipments to non-EU European countries (Norway, Switzerland) may attract local import duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

9. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

Statutory right to cancel (EU & UK consumers): Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason (the "cooling-off period"). To exercise this right, notify us within the 14-day period by email to info@richardmundi.com. You must return the goods within a further 14 days of giving notice. We will reimburse all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Extended returns window: In addition to your statutory cooling-off rights, RICHARD MUNDI offers a 30-day returns window from the date of delivery for exchange or refund, provided items are in their original, unworn, unwashed condition with all tags attached and original packaging intact.

Exclusions: The following items cannot be returned unless faulty: items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery; items returned without original tags or packaging; final sale or bespoke items.

Faulty goods: Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days for a full refund, and a right to repair or replacement thereafter. Under the EU Sale of Goods Directive 2019/771, you are entitled to a remedy for lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery. Additionally, EU consumers may benefit from a right to repair under applicable national law implementing EU repair obligations. Please contact us at info@richardmundi.com with your order number and a description of the fault.

Refunds: Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods (or within 14 days of cancellation notice if goods have not yet been despatched).

For detailed return instructions, please visit our Returns Policy page.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we make no representations or warranties — express, implied, or statutory — regarding the Site, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or continuous availability.

We do not warrant that the Site will be free from errors, defects, viruses, or interruptions, nor that defects will be corrected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RICHARD MUNDI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or purchase of products, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.

Our total aggregate liability in connection with any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total value of the order giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100 GBP.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or other mandatory UK or EU consumer protection legislation.

13. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok) and payment processors. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites and accept no responsibility for them. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.

14. Force Majeure

We shall not be in breach of these Terms, nor liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations, where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, war, civil unrest, government action, strikes, transport disruption, or supply chain failure. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and endeavour to fulfil our obligations as soon as the circumstances allow.

15. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve all disputes promptly, fairly, and without the need for formal proceedings. If you have a complaint, please contact us in the first instance at info@richardmundi.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

Your personal data in the context of any dispute is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR / EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

This does not affect your rights as a consumer under the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence. EU consumers may also bring proceedings in their local courts where permitted under Regulation (EU) No. 1215/2012.

17. Amendments to These Terms

We may amend these Terms at any time. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered members of material changes by email where practicable.
